Charakteristika
Ing. Lívia Mačák – je absolvent FMMR. V súčasnosti je študentkou 2. ročníka doktorandského štúdia na Ústave materiálov a inžinierstva kvality a zaoberá sa problematikou prípravy nanočastíc vzácnych kovov (Ag, Au).
Cieľom jej dizertačnej práce je syntéza nanočastíc vzácnych kovov „green“ metódami a príprava kompozitov s polymérnou matricou dopovaných nanočasticami vzácnych kovov. Je zručná v laboratórnom prostredí a dobre ovláda základné analytické techniky pri vyhodnocovaní koloidných roztokov (práca s UV‑vis spektrofotometrom, stanovovanie pH a vodivosti roztokov, príprava vzoriek na FTIR analýzu a iné). Zároveň má skúsenosti s hodnotením toxických a antibakteriálnych vlastnosti rôznych materiálov (roztokov aj bulk materiálov).

Ing. Lívia MAČÁK
Characteristics
Ing. Lívia Mačák – is postgraduate of FMMR. Currently, she is a student of the 2nd year of PhD study at the Institute of Materials and Quality Engineering. Her work consists with the issue of preparing nanoparticles of rare metals (Ag, Au).
Thesis of her dissertation is the synthesis of nanoparticles of noble metals by „green“ methods and the preparation of composites with a polymer matrix doped with nanoparticles of noble metals. She has adequate skills in laboratory, and she manage basic analytical techniques for evaluating colloidal solutions (working with a UV-vis spectrophotometer, determining the pH and conductivity of solutions, preparing samples for FTIR analysis, etc.). She has also experience in evaluating the toxic and antibacterial properties of various materials (solutions and bulk materials).
